Wood Deck Screws, Stainless Steel -Type 305
Used to fasten all types of wood decking including cedar, redwood and preservative-treated woods. Coarse threads (approximately 2/3 up the shank) draw the decking and other material tightly to the substrate. Pre-drilling is recommended near board ends to prevent splitting.
Type 305 stainless steel offers good protection against general corrosion risk, however type 316 stainless is recommended for harsh, salty, marine environments.
