Bead Board Products

 (Commonly referred as Styrofoam, which is a registered trademark of Dow Chemical)

 

We manufacture bead board (aka Styrofoam) blocks as large as 36" x 48" x 16' long!

Please keep in mind that this product can NOT be used for floating docks in most natural waterways and we will NOT sell them to you for that purpose.

For floating docks we suggest you use our Encapsulated Float Drums or our Dow Styrofoam Billets.

R-Value*: 3.85 @ 75º F

Compressive Strength: 10 - 14 psi

Flexural Strength: 25 - 30 psi

Water Vapor Transmission Rate: 2.0 - 5.0 perm-inches

Water Absorption: Less Than 4.0% by Volume

Oxygen Index: 24%

*R-Value is the resistance to heat flow.

The higher the R-Value, the greater the insulating power.
